Well the nights are definitely drawing in, autumn is definitely here so itís definitely time to get quilt making!
We've refreshed our look and incorporated some of your favourites from Popular Patchwork.
So it would appear I can see into the future! Did I not say in my column in the last issue that by the time it came out, we would have skipped through spring and rushed headlong into summer?
Having had the photoshoot on possibly the dullest day of the year, itís hats off to our photographer, Emma Sekhon, for magically capturing what little light there was and giving the illusion that summer was finally here!
Is it Spring yet? Did I blink and miss it and by the time this issue comes out we are enjoying summer?
On Sale April 13!
Whilst making projects for Easter isnít as big a Ďthingí as making Christmas-themed items, I do like to try and theme the issue that comes out around Easter time with spring projects.
On sale March 9!
Gosh, sometimes it feels like writing my Welcome column to you comes around so quickly!
Welcome to the March issue of Popular Patchwork!
Itís funny how we think of December and January being our winter here in the UK, when quite often February can be colder with a higher likelihood of snow.
In my opinion, February is a month to be endured rather than enjoyed, and when March arrives Iím nothing short of euphoric!
Wow, 2017 was a bit of a whirlwind! A bit of a blur too if Iím honest. We certainly packed a lot into P&Q over the last year.
After all the excitement of Christmas and the New Year, January often feels dull by comparison. With daylight hours in short supply and usually grey, the aim this issue is to inject some much-needed colour into your world.
December, the month of goodwill quilters! Thereís a hashtag on Instagram called Ďget your quilty wishes grantedí, ask and you just might receive.
Christmas does strange things to us Ė or me at least.
I am treading carefully as I welcome you to this November issue... in October... with the focus clearly on Christmas, for much as I love the festive season, even I have my limits as to how early my preparations start!
