More than 160 quilters from 16 countries worldwide participated in the 1st International Quilt Block Swap, a multinational and cross-cultural patchwork project organized by the German Quilt around the World website. Due to the great success, there will be an international travelling exhibition featuring some of the extraordinary swap quilts in 2013. In addition, the International Block Swap will go into second round with a new creative theme in spring.

The Studio is a spin off from the Loch Lomond Quilt Show, created to meet the demands of quilters for quality courses. The Studio runs regular weekly courses, occasional weekend workshops and masterclasses by visiting tutors as well as the C&G course. 2013 will be the ninth Loch Lomond Quilt Show and it takes place 15-18 May 2013.
