The last Weston Super Quilts, held in 2010 was a resounding success. The standard of entries was even higher than in 2008, with 180 quilts on display at the Winter Gardens pavilion. Weston Quilters members had obviously been very busy, in addition to making lots of beautiful quilts and other items, they sewed nearly 60 bags which were raffled during the show to raise funds for staging the event. Four quilts made by Karen Llewellyn-Parsons and quilted by Charity Carter were raffled for Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and the group raised a fantastic £1800.
