Even the best of us have UFOs! Your chance to see and maybe buy a piece of unfinished work of some of our most famous and loved textile artists at Festival of Quilts 2014 and raise money for the Quilters Guild
The idea came from Susan Briscoe. "Why don't you have a stand selling unfinished items from well-known people in the quilting world?" she said. That is how the "Unfini-SHEDS" was born. We hope to make shed-loads of money for The Quilters’ Guild through this initiative!
The unfinished work will be shown at Festival of Quilts 2014 All we are asking is £25 (plus p+p if you can’t collect in person) for each of these works of art. When you get your piece home after Festival of Quilts in August, you can finish it as you wish. It's a small price to pay for a masterpiece and the money raised will help The Quilters' Guild enormously in its quest for promotion and conservation of and education in our craft.
