This Kaffe Fassett lecture is designed to inspire and motivate. The presentation highlights works from his latest projects, these include his patchwork quilts, fabrics, needlepoints, mosaic, painting and knitting designs. A tremendous amount of Kaffe's inspiration comes from his continual travels and his lecture is designed not so much to instruct but to empower and inspire the audience to create and develop their "mind's eye". Audiences leave invigorated - entranced by Kaffe's sense and use of colour, they are ready to try it themselves and are encouraged to do so.

You don't need any special skills or equipment to enjoy Kaffe's lecture, and lunch, teas, coffees and cake are incluced in the price, which is £50. You are asked to bring a change of shoes and jacket suitable for a farm walk (wellies if wet). Toft Studio workshop days begin with a leisurely farm walk to meet Toft's herd of 200 alpacas in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside. You get the chance learn more about farming these wonderful animals whilst spending a day learning a new skill, talking a little 'alpaca' and looking behind the scenes of British yarn processing. Kaffe's latest book will be available to purchase at the event (and of course the chance to get it signed!).

The day seminar will be held between 10am-3pm, with a prompt start so please arrive from 9.30am. More details, and online booking at The Toft Alpaca Shop
