A new event will be held in Hampshire this September, the 'Vintage Bazaar'. This event brings together the best dealers in vintage fabric/trims/buttons as well as designers who use vintage fabric in their work
Lizzie and Clare have been running the wonderful 'Vintage Bazaar' in Somerset for the last two years and it has become a firm favourite with fashion and interior designers as well as those who just appreciate beautiful things, now it’s coming to Hampshire! The fair boasts some of the best quality vintage and handmade dealers all under one roof.
There will be vintage fashion, fabrics, homeware and gardenalia as well as beautiful handmade and reworked delights. On Saturday Sept 22nd the V&A Hall at Hartley Witney will be brimming with everything from 40’s tea dresses and jewellery to 'Atomic Era' fabric and stunning American quilts and homeware. As well as these wonderful vintage stalls there will also be designers and makers who use vintage materials in their work like 'Daisy Darling' and her 20s inspired cloche hats and 'Betty and Violet' with their beautifully made decorative pillows. If you appreciate vintage and handmade then this is definitely the event for you! The doors open at 9am and it costs just £1 entrance. Afterwards why not sample some of the wonderful shops and cafes in the village for a jolly spiffing day out!
The Vintage Bazaar will be held at The V&A Centre, West Green Road, Hartley Wintney, Hook, Hampshire RG27 8AS.
