The Quick & Easy Workshop Programme

Over 40 different one-hour sessions running every day of The Festival.  This year’s programme is bigger than ever, covering an exciting and diverse range of patchwork, quilting and other stitching, dyeing and printing crafts.  Advance tickets cost £12 per session (+£1.50 booking fee) and include all materials.  All Quick & Easy Workshops are CPD certified.  Download The Quick & Easy Workshop Programme timetable at

The Quilt Academy Programme

A packed schedule of 3-hour, 1 day and 2 day classes plus five  ‘early bird’ classes on Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th August, led by internationally renowned tutors.  Classes range from traditional patchwork and quilting to dyeing, mixed media and even dressmaking for patchwork enthusiasts.  Advance standard price tickets start at £17.00 (+£1.50 booking fee) for a 90 minute session, with additional costs for materials as set out in the programme. The Talks & Discussions Programme

The Festival of Quilts is Europe’s leading patchwork and quilting show, and takes place from 11-14 August 2016 at the NEC Birmingham.  It attracts 24,000 visitors from across the world, with over 1000 quilts on display.  Tickets go on sale on 11 April 2016 (4 April for members of The Quilters’ Guild) and cost £14.50 in advance (concessions £13.50).  A wide selection of options are available from or by calling 0844 581 1289.
