A one day Workshop exploring the use of geometrical shapes in patchwork.
Suitable for beginners or those with some experience of patchwork who want to expand or improve on their skills. The workshop will include a brief introduction to the use of geometrical shapes in patchwork illustrated by examples of patchwork patterns, blocks and quilts. Celia will also explain the many ways in which geometrical shapes can be used to create both simple and complex patterns. This will be followed by a practical, ‘hands on’ session in which a patchwork panel/s will be sewn to be used either as cushions, bags or simply as decorations. £35 for members and £50 for non-members.
