The new September issue of Popular Patchwork will be in the shops from Friday 19 August, and at Festival of Quilts from 11th August.
We're all about precut fabric and dinosaurs this month! We have some great jelly roll patterns in this issue, with a quilt as you go Rail Fence from Fiona Law, and a French Braid by Sadie Yeomans. On the dinosaur front, there's a roaring Dino Quillow by Paula Doyle for Makower and a special Kids Corner Dinosaur cushion project for the summer holidays. There is also the second instalment of Hearts are all Around, a lovely pieced Spice quilt by Sally Ablett, and a pretty fabric themed wallhanging by Karen Maxwell.
In our features section, Anne Williams reports from Quilts UK at Malvern, while Davina Thomas brings back news from the National Quilt Championships, Sandown. Gillian Cooper looks at the wide variety of pre-cut fabric available in our quilt shops today, and we meet Jamie Warren, the man behind the quilts! Gillian's back to investigate the gorgeous New York Beauty block in this month's Building Blocks
