You can preview the contents pages from the new July issue of Popular Patchwork here, Popular Patchwork July 2013.

Popular Patchwork July 2013Our cover project this month is another lovely new design from Stuart Hillard, Indigo Nights. This striking indigo design contrasts beautifully with two softer pastel summer quilt patterns, Summer Breeze by Sally Ablett for Fabric Freedom and Best Friends by Linda Clements. Also shown on our July cover is Chris Franses' Jewel Quilt, a gorgeous half square triangle design in bright colours with white. Brenda Dean shows us how to make a pretty photo frame wall hanging in Petal Portrait and Angela Southey makes a mouth-watering Sizzix clamshell quilt, Summer Sorbet. Katharine Guerrier has us all scrap busting with Blocks and Squares, and we kick off with the first part of the 2013 BOM with Sue Cook. This is a great new Block of the Month Sampler quilt with lots of folded patchwork techniques for you to enjoy.

In this month's features section, we visit The Studio, Loch Lomond and find out about some exciting Group Quilts with Jane Rae. Brenda Dean and Janet Richardson teach us more clever ideas for Prairie Points in Hints and Tips and Stuart Hillard looks at Chinese Coin blocks in Scrap Attack.

There are over £800 worth of prizes and giveaways in this issue, including great Sizzix and Fabric Freedom giveaways. Don't forget to check the 'What's New' pages for our prize draws and special offers.
