The new issue of Popular Patchwork is in the shops from Friday 6th December
Happy New Year! Our first issue of 2014 is in the shops from 6th December and it's packed full of 25 new ideas and inspirations.
Our cover project for January is Kerry Wilkinson's gorgeous bright Helsinki quilt. This is a great modern design that we're sure you'll love as much as we do. Inside our project pages this month there are four further exciting quilt projects, Bright and Breezy by Linda Clements, Spiderweb by Regan Purcell, Crazy Log Cabin by Mandy Munroe and Ragtime Blues by Anne Williams. Sadie Yeomans continues the Scandinavian theme from the cover with her delightful Nordika Bag, while Greta Fitchett treats us to more of your favourite log cabin blocks with her scrappy Log Cabin Bag. There's also the latest part of Sue Cook's Folded Sampler. Don't forget to share your progress with us in this unusual BOM, we love to see how your own quilts are growing.
In our features section, catch up with Gillian Cooper reporting from the 2013 Loch Lomond Quilt Show, read TACKS moving tribute to Tricia Holcroft, find out about Oliven Retreats with Katharine Guerrier and visit the Cloth and Memory exhibition with Davina Thomas. Brenda Dean and Janet Richardson teach us some more new ideas for simple charm squares in Hints and Tips and Stuart Hillard looks at three new blocks, chain block, game cocks block and partial chain block in Scrap Attack.
There are over £900 worth of prizes and giveaways in this issue. Don't forget to check the 'What's New' pages for our prize draws and special offers, our book giveaways, and our special Sizzix competition.
You'll never miss an issue as a subscriber, and you can save money off the cover price of each issue. This month can treat yourself to a Moda Jelly Roll with a new subscription.
