The April issue of Popular Patchwork will be in the shops from Friday 2 March. Preview the contents here.
Spring is on it's way, come and see what Popular Patchwork has in store in our April edition. There are two great quilt projects this month, the soothing Atlantis by Sally Ablett for Fabric Freedom for adults, and the cool Space by Hilary Gooding for Makower for children. Those looking for a new wall hanging pattern will be pleased with the variety offered by Anne Williams in Hen and Chicks, Purple Pinwheels by Chris Franses and Embellished Roses by Sheilah Daughtree. We also have some smaller projects; a stylish table runner by Katharine Guerrier, Mosiac Blocks by Pat Stone, Sadie Yeomans' Kids Corner Pencil Roll, and a special Stitch A Gift project, in support of the Region 13 tombola at Festival of Quilts this summer.
In our features section, we visit the wonderful Quiltfest in Wales, look at the BA course in Contemporary Craft and Design at the University of Cumbria, and catch up with current news in Quilting with a Cause.
There are over £700 worth of prizes and giveaways in this issue. Don't forget to check the 'What's New' section and book review pages for all our prize draws and special offers.
