New Horizons Textile Group will premiere 'Now we are Twenty' at Festival of Quilts 2013 - an exhibition to celebrate their 20th anniversary.
New Horizons Textile Group was formed in January 1993 by former students of North Hertfordshire College. Founder members were keen to maintain their links with each other after studying City & Guilds Patchwork & Quilting. As the group evolved and new members have joined, the variety of stitched textile techniques now seen in both individual and group work has become more diverse and experimental.
Janice Dent - Now We Are Twenty
The group has a long record of exhibiting work at prestigious venues including The Quilt Museum & Gallery, York & Wimpole Hall (National Trust), Cambridgeshire and has a close working relationship with Luton Museums.
The group is delighted to premiere 'Now we are Twenty' at The Festival of Quilts 2013. The exhibition, a celebration of New Horizons' 20th anniversary, shows the diversity of styles and talents of this award winning textile group.
