Jinny Beyer and Amy Sinibaldi launch new thread collections for Aurifil
Aurifil is thrilled to introduce Amy Sinibaldi of Nana Company, a new designer for Aurifil threads. Her debut collection, Sweetly Stitched, is a gorgeous selection of colors inspired by her book of the same name and her fabrics with Art Gallery Fabrics. Amy features both the 28wt and the 50wt threads in her collection to accommodate all of her needs, whether she is working with appliqué, quilting, or sewing bags and accessories. Sweetly Stitched is now available in both large and small boxes!
Jinny Beyer's Aurifil Thread Collections are custom selected for Machine and Hand Piecing. Jinny prefers Aurifil 28wt thread for all of her hand quilting and piecing. For this collection, she selected colors that she uses most often for her own quilts. She tends to work with dark colors -- black, navy, burgundy, and brown -- but will use a natural color for the lighter fabrics. Her staff uses Aurifil 50wt for machine piecing, so Jinny looked to them for the most go-to colors. Her goal was to offer a range of what she felt were the most standard colors, ones that would be universal for people to use for any project. The Hand Piecing collection is available in both Large and Small boxes and the Machine Piecing collection is available in a Large box only. To learn more about Jinny, please visit the Auribuzz blog.
