Gillian Cooper, who writes regularly for Popular Patchwork has converted her studio into a teaching room and is now also running patchwork and quilting and surface design classes in Balfron, Scotland. Ranging from one day ‘fun days’ to try things like gelli-plate printing to two year City & Guilds courses in patchwork and quilting, there is something for every textile enthusiast. She is starting a new C&G Certificate class in January and a Diploma group in April. Classes are limited to seven students and each day includes a complimentary lunch.
