Julie says, "I only bought a copy of Popular Patchwork last week from my local Newsagency (March Issue) and saw the cake of the month. I went to the website to see if I could get the pattern for Part 1 or purchase a back issue, and I saw your digital magazine subscription. I subscribed a few days later and found I am able to access all back issues as well as the latest issues not yet available in Australia."

"I am a Science teacher in Perth Western Australia. I work in distance education which helps to provide education for isolated students around WA, as well as students living or travelling overseas, students in schools who don’t have a science teacher and students unable to attend school for various reasons eg.elite athletes, teenage mums and illness. I am originally from the UK (Nottingham) and immigrated to Australia in 1967 with my family. I grew up in Perth before moving to a rural town in WA to teach. I taught in this town for 17 years before moving back to Perth to get married."

"I have been doing patchwork and quilting since 1987, however I have been doing craft and sewing since before I started school. Yesterday, the last day of my holidays I made the Simple Sewing Companion I found in your project section (photos attached); this will be great to take when travelling around WA to visit my students, on holiday, attending my patchwork group (the Secret Quilters – Secret Harbour WA) and retreats. I have spent a few days of my holidays looking through the back issues of your magazine and have spotted my more projects I would like to make."

We hope Julie enjoys her prize and her new digital subscription, and that she will be joining in with some of our forum swaps and projects in the near future.
