This month Linda won a copy of Pamela Mostek's Blended Borders book. Linda is a talented wood worker as well as quilter, come and see what she gets up to!
Linda says, "I am retired and have just started patchwork quilting as a winter hobby, my summer hobby is woodwork, and I have a cabin down the bottom of the garden which houses my bandsaw, scroll saw, wood turning lathe, and 2 boxes of hardshell gourds, which I paint on and make into table lamps, lidded boxes, and bowls. I have attached a picture of the William Morris quilt I have started to make, as I love the applique method and have an interest in landscape quilts, which is another on going project I am doing."
"Also attached is a picture of the sculptured bandsaw boxes I make, a table lamp gourd, along with my picture of myself. I love the Popular Patchwork site and find it so interesting there is a lot to look at and on a cold rainy day looking through the website really cheers me up"
