Adjustoform Products have just launched their first sewing machine storage desk as a solution for sewers in houses where a sewing room is just a gift Father Christmas never managed to deliver.
The desk is basic and compact, and an attractive piece of furniture, which can be used virtually anywhere in the home. When sewing is finished and the sewing machine has been stored away in the body of the desk, it can be used for school homework or laptop work station, for example.
The storage system is based on a spring mechanism to assist in raising and lowering the sewing machine and is operated with the assistance of light hand pressure on the sewing machine.
The finishes to choose from are an easy clean dual faced melamine board in a light option for a modern look (Pear) and for more traditional homes a dark finish (Walnut).
The desk is packed in two cartons each weighing 16.4kgs for easy delivery and convenient consumer handling. It is quick and easy to assemble by two people and to avoid any delays a dual headed screwdriver is included in one of the packs so excited consumers can begin the assembly process without searching for tools.
The desk comes with a two year guarantee and has been certified by FIRA for assembly, durability and the desk mechanism.
