Take your first steps towards improv quilt making with a block that is structured, yet created on impulse. It can be difficult to try improv piecing when you’re used to making traditional blocks, so this quilt will help you break a couple of rules!

  • 2½m Solid off white 
  • 2½m Solid black
  • 6, 50cm Assorted solids including an accent colour*
  • 80" Square wadding
  • 4m Backing
  • Foundation paper

*Kerry used Kona solids Quicksilver, Lilac, Petunia, Deep Rose, Celestial and Chartreuse for her accent colour
