If like me, you are a fan of packs of fat quarters, you might also find it difficult to use them when you get them home. If that is the case, this book is ideal. There are 13 projects ranging in size from table runners to larger quilts. The book gives clear instructions and diagrams and there are large photos showing the quilt flat so you get an idea of how the patterns work. The book starts with a good chapter on buying, using and storing fat quarters. I like the idea of washing them in the small mesh bags you can use for socks. If you prefer to buy fabric in larger pieces, they give details on how to work out how much yardage you need too. The book assumes a certain level of knowledge so would not be right if you have never used a rotary cutter for example. However, if you want lots of ideas for things to make with your fat quarters, then this would be the book for you.
