Hi.  The piano was in black and white but was photographed in a school auditorium where the lighting was dreadful!!  The colours are the orchestra around the outside.  The background to the musical note is really beige musical fabric squares (three patterns).  I really enjoyed making it and actually made another for our Musical Director Malcolm but used bigger squares (this one had 576 squares) and it is done in beiges and browns but can't get the picture on the site as it is 'too big'.  Will rephotograph when I borrow them back for an exhibition in October.  They were so easy to make!!

That must have taken alot of time and planning most of my pictures are to big if you are using Windows i think there is a program called ms paint if you right click on your photo and 'open with'  paint i think then pick stretch and screw and then put 40 in both boxs then you need to save as ( name it  so it makes a new file) and that should be enough to downsize the file good luck thanks for getting back to me ruth

Hi Ruth - thanks very much!!  I am not terribly good on forums - this is the first one I have used so didn't realize I could respond to any responses (get that??) . anyway, I am going to try your suggestion and if it works, which I'm sure I can get it to do, I will post some more pictures.  I only have about 15 more to go (at this point).  Thanks once again!!  Margaret
