I've added to my account, would that have been better served in the group one- can I transfer from mine into it?

Hi Kerry, if you are happy to loan £15.00 it doesn't matter! The advantage of sending money to the group account via my new PayPal account is that you can contribute smaller amounts!

Welcome anyway! You are now a group member!

Kerry, I think if the money is in your own name, you will need to choose the loanee. Then your loan will be attributed to the group total. I think that's how I did it. When I got a repayment, I sent some money to Rosemary via paypal for the group, but when my initial loan is repaid in full to my account, I'll fund another one again. That way every loan I lend will result in a at least two new ones, and probably more

Hi All, here is a new candidate for a loan, what do you think? We are about halfway there in the account at the moment!

This is the message from Surayya

"Surayya Fayyaz is a seamstress and makes a living from altering clothing as well as making made to measure clothes. She is 40 years old and married with three sons and one daughter. One of her daughters is now married and lives with her husband. Her husband and elder son aged 22 work and earn a combined 14,000 rupees (about $142) on average monthly. Surayya lives with her husband and children in their own house in an area called Kot Khawaja Saeed in the city of Lahore. She has been stitching clothes for ten years and her customers are women from her neighbourhood. She uses a mechanical sewing machine and sews the latest designs in frocks, airline shirts, trousers, full and short sleeved shirts. Surraya wants to purchase a new sewing machine as her current sewing machine is not working properly. She earns about 4,000 rupees a month. She therefore applied for a loan in order to purchase a new sewing machine and some other items (including threads and needles). She intends to repay the loan in 15 installments. "
