Made in 1984/5 at classes, we had to make templates, no such things as rotary cutters. It has been on our bed in the winter ever since. The borders were a black print the whole thing has faded except the green which is poly cotton, and all made by hand.

They're all great, mine was a very boring and tatty, badly made thing made from squares of three different fabrics, cut with scissors, and bagged out before quilting. I think I made it up as I went along. It is falling apart, but it is Daisy's favourite.

Seconded!

My first quilt was the half a football pitch one published by another magazine in 2007. I made it as an 18th birthday present but don't appear to have any pics. The second was this one for my mum a few months later, made at a stack and whack day. It has poly cotton sheeting as the sashing and backing and thick wadding as I didn't know anything much about quilting! That was in 2008 and I just haven't stopped...Mums lapquilt

Ok then, prepare yourselves..

Daisy sleeps under a duvet and three quilts! So we had to do a layer revealing photo to get to the first one, you might as well see the others as well

This one is her newest one from 2012, and yes it is upside down

Underneath that one is my first quilt, which is her favourite

Underneath that is one I made for a friends baby, but I thought it was a bit rubbish and I was embarassed to give it to her, so Daisy had instead. As it happens the friend turned out to be probably the worst friend I've ever had, so I don't like to be reminded of her when I see this one

And here's the second quilt I ever made, which is my favourite. My longarming friend Joanne gave me the pattern, and quilted it for me. It is really Stella's and it has toothpaste on it!
