This is about A NEW FRIENDSHIP SWAP that I am proposing for this year. It will take a slightly different form than the others we have done recently. Here are the basic "rules"
1. Everybody will select their own colours for the swap.
2. Each month everyone will make and send a block.
3. I will chose the blocks each month and they will gradually increase in difficulty starting with a nine patch. The blocks will be 12ins square.
4. The swap will last for 11 months starting in February. The final 12th. block to complete your quilt (if that's what you want) you will make for yourself.
I think (hope) that Winnie will join in with some of her new group, and if any of you are in a similar situation then they are welcome to join us. I am hoping that my friend Helen will also join in!
I think that covers just about everything. ALL I need now is a note to say that you are interested!!

I think I am! I am a bit dense on 1 & 2. Say my colour was blue - do I make all the blocks that I send in blue? Where do we send the blocks each month? I am not B.O.L.B. but it would fit today!

Not quite Margaret, all the blocks you receive will be in your chosen colours. The colour of the blocks you send will depend on who you are sending to!
I will post a list every month of your swap partners for that month only.
Hope this makes it clearer!

When is the cut off date for this?? That is when do you have to have a final answer?
