Uglies! Possible Pretties!!

Have you got any unloved fabric in your stash? Would you like to swap it for something else? Someone might think it's lovely!

Have a look and root out those FQs that you know you'll never use, and post a photo here. Think of the kind of fabric you'd like to swap it for, and wait and see if anyone will do an exchange.

Anyone who likes the look of an offered FQ should reply in this thread, and then PM the current owner for address details. Does that sound like a plan?

I posted quite a few FQ prizes on Saturday, so if I see any fabric I recognise, I'll pretend not to!

Good idea Katy, I do this on a regular basis at my group. The only diffference being they have to 'bid' for the fabric they see, if it doesn't reach the reserve price set by the seller, they don;t get it unless the seller agrees to let it go cheaper. Great fun had by all when we do this and my oh my do they get some bargains.

Great idea Katy. I will have a look. I am sure that I have got some flowers! I have both but I tend to buy whole width so would thin quarters be all right as well?

Thin quarters would be fine Margaret, someone will be sure to appreciate your floral cast offs! My problem is with Christmas fabric and Novelty prints, just not keen at all!

Katy,I don't know if you want these put here or if you will make a folder elsewhere,maybe you can move them if you need to. Anyway to start everyone off here are 3 of my fat quarters.blues,creams and terracotta colourblack background reds,orange.Brown with squiggles not quite white though as photo looks.

Hope this describes them well.

Liz, what do you like? We (Well, me probably!) need to know what would be a suitable swap for your fabric?

It's not that I don't like them Katy, just that they don't seem to go into anything I make. I like purples, mauves, orientals, tone on tones pastels, creams,batiks in mauves purples pinks.Autumn colours too. There is such a lot that I like really so would be good to just see what you have!!!! Liz
