Thanks for the kind comments, but the piecing is not all my own work. The UFO is a Round Robin. For people who do not know what this is - I made the centre block. It then went to someone else to make the next border, and so on, six people in all, and I only saw it again once it was returned to me. It was very pink, not my favourire colour, but the batik borders I have put on have changed all that. I am not greatly attached to it and the children in the home in Africa have a greater need for it than I do.

Jan, that's not late - I started a quilt for my DS months before he was born last year and I still haven't finished it. I'm hoping to finish it before he leaves home!!
