Dear Jan,

You've got it all under control!

I'm warming up as I type....

Greeting to Stockport Community Choir too, we next meet on January 22nd..... Too late! Our Carol Service at Walthew House was most enjoyable and June has offered to teach us a carol or two in sign language for next year!

Singing with them since June has really helped my voice to improve - it's the regular practice!

I hope to iron my Drunkards path blocks today and join them...

Dear Jan and Caz,

Not only have I ironed (funny purpleish thing - not often used? Only on patchwork ) my Drunkards path - but joined it and sashed it (if sashed it is a phrase to use!) AND
I've begun a square in a square... I joined the 4 sides of the second square to the centre - and then the bobbin ran out! So, I've pinned the next two sides ready for when I refill the bobbin in daylight tomorrow.

Who's watching Great Expectations? I'm captivated - I've never read the book so all the surprises and twists in the plot are new to me! Final episode tonight - can't wait!

Better make my cup of hot chocolate and find some cake (no fruit on the emoticons!) and head back to bed - perhaps I'll sleep this time?

A 5 am start for work seems too early, Caz - when I was on shifts with the AA I started at either 07:00, 15:15 or 22:30 for 8 and a quarter hours each time - unless you were working when the clocks changed!

I will sing the New Year in with you. I am usually lurking at all times of day and night. Sewing at the moment, putting together a throw for the dog!!!!!
