Iread with interest your article on Bonnie Maccaffrey.  In the article it says that Bonnie has published a book about painted faces in patchwork. I tried to access her web-site to find out more information about it  but my computer keeps telling me that this is a fraudulent site and absoluteley refuses to log on to it. If possible do you have any info about this book ? , as i am interested in purchasing a copy . T hanks in anticipation.

Bonnie's book is called "Portrait Quilts Painted Faces You Can Do" and is currently out of print. I've checked Amazon for second hand copies and they don't have any at the moment.

My web browser doesn't have any complaints about Bonnie's site. On her website she says you can be added to a list so that her publisher considers a reprint. I've added myself to this, and if I hear anything about it, I'll let you know, and you can have my copy if it happens!

As for more information - this book was reviewed in Popular Patchwork a few years ago. I will find the review and post in on the website tomorrow so look out for it.

Painted Face Beginners Workshop

The DVD workshop is available from Amazon.com on the above link for $29.49. It's easiest to get from Bonnie's website, but if your browser thinks it's dodgy then amazon should be OK.

I can't find the DVD or book anywhere in the UK at the moment.
