So glad you are on the mend. Enjoy "your" time and make the most of all the spoiling, especially the fabric and chocolates.

Hi Sarah,
Terry said to me today, 'You are a special lady, Tess'. When I asked him why he said that, he said he not only enjoyed spoiling me with chocolates and new fabric and all the other things he has been able to help with, but he was just has pleased to see all the lovely comments from everyone on the forum.
Yes, I told him...I do feel very special...I've got a lot of great friends.

Hi Tessa
Sorry I have not been online before now, been away for a week and just back this weekend.
I am so pleased you are home and hopefully feeling better.
You have the op over with now, so you just have to get better and don't forget the excersises!
You have a good partner buying you fabric and chocolate - enjoy.
Hope you have a speedy recovery and enjoy hand sewing while getting better.
Kind regards

Hi Tessa,
glad to hear you are progressing and you are being so well looked after by your DP.
Hope the knee recovers at a rapid rate and you are soon running around after fabric rather than hopping.

Try to picture this.... 11 Days after having a full knee replacement I'm up and walking on the fells. Mind you I only walked about 200 feet or so, and having the use of both crutches....but the fun was when we got was all hands on deck to get the ice packs on the knee as quickly as possible.
It was such a gorgeous day and we just couldn't resist going out for a drive. The knee felt really good, but not so good when I started to put too much pressure on it. It's getting better slowly, I'm just very impatient.
