Ok Ladies,

Katy has given me the OK to start a new thread and a new swap....  so here we go.

Suggestions indicate that a swap that entails squares would be preferred and the majority of ideas seem to be that black and white fabrics would be a good choice.  This way a favourite fabric of your own can be included to give it that pizazz.....

So, for the time being...I'm collecting names of those of you who would be interested and your feelings about the black/white squares idea.

Hope to hear from you.... I'll set a time limit - January 31 for anyone wishing to join up.   How's that sound ??     It will depend on the number of responses which will tell whether we get this baby off the ground.

Oh, go on, then - maybe this will inspire me to actually get on and do SOMETHING with the pile of black and white i've been collecting!! 10" squares would fit in nicely with the layer cake patterns link I posted earlier this week, too!

Hi Tessa,
Thank you, I'd love to be in this one.  I'd be happy with 10" squares.  Unsure about the black and white theme - never done anything in those colours before.  Would we be able to add our own accent colours?

Evening Ros,

Yes...I think black and white lends itself to a colour of your choice....it would be an interesting collage of colour if everyone decided on something different to go with their black and whites.

I'm thinking in the lines of any fabric that is white pattern on black fabric, black pattern on a white background or tone on tone black or tone on tone white.  This way it would keep us within a certain boundary that would allow another colour to be introduced without a problem.

Irene and Fiona....  good to see you on board....
