Thank you so much! I just posted it and was so chuffed when I saw my work mentioned here I had to tell my fiance (whose arm appears top left - I'm not a good photographer!) Thanks!
I really enjoyed doing it as I've never done anything in that 'country' style before with the bold, naive applique. I bought the felt at the show too so I'm really pleased I've used it (makes me feel less guilty about spending!)

That is so lovely Claire. Never feel guilty about spending if this is the result, in fact never feel guilty about spending.

Fabric is cheaper than therapy and better healthwise than chocolate.....well, that's my excuse!

Thanks so much everyone, I'm so pleased you like it
You're right about fabric - it always amazes me how much enjoyment I get out of one fat quarter! For a long time I used to start projects and not finish them but I feel better when I get good use out of what I buy!
Sometimes when I really like a bit of fabric I'm scared to use it but I'm trying to get over that now because it's so much more satisfying to use fabric than look at it in my stash!

Great cushion!!  I agree about it being more fun to use fabric than stroke it (especially when I'm making something for me as I get to see it everyday and not just when I open the drawer!) but I feel a pang when the pieces of a favourite fabric are too small to fold and put in the FQ drawer and have to move to the scrap box...
