Does anyone feel up for a fabric swap? I am suggesting another strip swap, and my proposed theme is "ice cream", I thought we could do with some summery cheer!

Let me know if you'd like to join in, everyone is welcome, if you've not taken part in a swap before, a strip swap is ideal. You will need to buy one metre of fabric, cut it into 14 strips, and send it to me, and you should receive 14 strips of lovely fabric back. Full instructions will be given, but it is really very simple. The only rule is to post a picture of whatever you make with your strips here on the website.

If you'd like to join in, you can reply here, or send me a personal message, or email me at katy.purvis@myhobbystore.com

Come and join us!

I'm in - just finished that big quilt, so have a small space! I am quite happy to organise it this time - the spare bed has nothing on it at the minute, so plenty of space.
Does Ice Cream mean themed fabric, or just stuff that is making us think ice cream?

Great Dusie! It can mean ice cream themed if you like, but I was thinking of "think ice cream" colours and flavours, sugary pastels, or deep raspberry or mint choc chip patterns!

Stop it - that sounds yummy. Will be a bit easier than themed - although a little bit here and there would be fine just to reinforce the theme. I'm excited already - I can see why my family think I am a little bit sad!

Hi everyone

Can I join in please, and just so as I am clear it can be any fabric that reminds us of ice cream not just fabric with an ice cream print!

Yup Jackie that's right, ice cream inspired preferred, but ice cream print if you like.
