Hi, I have finally found my creativeness - I did this out of my head totally (although i am sure loads of other people have done it too). I am particularly pleased at my machine quilting.

Susan, that's fabulous - I wish I'd had that idea as I love bright colours! Don't you find that you get a real sense of achievement when you've made something you're really pleased with? I love the different quilting inside each section

Thank you - I forgot to mention I haven't hand-sewn down the binding yet, so that bit still looks dodgy.
Not sure what they will say at quilt group - bit traditional there. I am going to try and get one done as a journal size for the FoQ in August. Should only take a couple of days - she says!

what a brilliant idea, I love that and the fact you have tried different patterns in each ray. Would you mind if I copied you? I love it.
you will notice I've dropped the McE bit again I couldn't be bothered with it, if the other Jan turns up again I will have to do it.

It's gorgeous, a beautiful rainbow sun. Your quilting is brilliant too. Did you dye the fabrics yourself?
