Good luck with your interview.

Well, it would have to be my Pfaff QE 4.2. I don't know how I managed before without that extra space to the right of the needle.

Apart from my machine, my favourite gadget is my 100" quilters' tape measure. I never use any other type and it is amazing how many quilter friends ask to borrow mine!

I've finished my crochet Virus Shawl so I am back to big-stitch hand quilting my Ribbon Quilt and will be working on it over the week end.

My little gadget for fastening safety pins is made in the USA. You can google< kwik klip paula jean creations>. Some people use a long handles parfait spoon that works just as well.

I can see why you find it so useful Brenda.......if you do a lot of pinning then your fingers must get so sore! Rx

Hi everyone.....how has your day been? I began by working on the drunkards path quilt....but have used up all the prepared squares...and truthfully couldn't face making any more this evening! So I started on a quick charity one....using strips to make squares to make HSTs as shown by Missouri star...using golds/brown /yellow..I think it will be very pretty..hopefully! I will take some photos in the morning...far too dull here today!

Best Rosemary

well finally today worked out ok. When I planned my rainbow quilt I hadn't planned on 6" squares sashed together to make a larger block. As a consequence I was 10" short of 3 of my colours. I'd already sashed a set of greens together and then couldn't find any more to match properly for the outer border. I bought the fabric 18 months ago in Norfolk and they didn't have any more when I rang them. I have been round all my local shops and a bit further afield. and joy of joys I found some in a charity shop of all places. I have a close match in the yellow and blue and as long as I use the new materials in the same way it wont show.

So I've pieced and sashed the indigo blocks today, so 4hrs 20 mins. of sewing for me laugh

Eileen xx

Here is the little quilt..made over the weekend. It is about a metre square...and is actually much brighter than it looks here!

Now back to some more drunkards paths! Rx
