Good afternoon everyone......I am sorry to share this sad news with you all.......but my friend Sheila Nixon died yesterday yet I'm not sure of all the details! Some of you will have swapped blocks and cards with her over the past few years and some of you will have met her at FoQ. I know she was touched by all the birthday cards she received this year. If you would be kind enough to remember her husband and family at this really painful time........ Rx

Hello Rosemary - you were thoughtful enough to give me the sad news about Sheila on the phone this morning as I had met her both at FOQ and also at your own home. She was a lovely lady and I am very sad for her husband and family. A difficult time for you too - I know she was a very good friend of yours.

A tragic end to a "young" life.

Margaret/Winnie xx

I never had the pleasure of meeting Sheila but have "Met" her on the forum. Condolences to her family and especially to you Rosemary. It's always sad when a friend leaves you , even more so when it's a quilting friend.

Horribly sad news and at such a time of year for it too. If it's appropriate please give my condolences to her family Rosemary.
