Show and Tell 2021

Finished the 4 quilt pictures and decided to frame them to keep the dust off! These go with the bigger baby quilt for our new grandson.

They are lovely Reenie, proper nursery pictures. Where did you get the panel from?

Thanks, Eileen. I had to look back and found that I had bought them on e-bay. They are part of a Michael Miller panel. I used the big panel for one side of the baby quilt I sent down before Christmas.

There have been some lovely projects going on. Love the little advent pockets, Rosemary. At first sight I thought the little blue one was a recycled jean's pocket then I realised the size.

Here is my latest project. It's an applique kit called "Doxie Love" by Madi Hastings. I thought it was a bit expensive but I hadn't read the size - 61" wide. One very big dachshund! It's taken me a couple of months+ to do the big stitch straight line quilting on the background. The dachshund is machine blanket stitch qayg.

Hello everyone. Love the dog Margaret! What have you all been doing? We went to see our daughter who lives interstate and couldn't come home for weeks. I had some hand sewing so made do with that. I hadn't done any hand work for ages and was a bit slow and rusty (what's new).

Quilted it when we came home. It's another crib quilt for the local hospital premature baby unit.
