Here are the photos as promised... this one was intended for my sister's MiL.....for her room in the care home....but sadly she died last year....so the impetus went!ufo1.jpg

My sister chose the fabrics and in fact they are a bit brighter than in this photo. MiL loved chrystanthemums(?)!

This disappearing 4 patch was made from a set of 10 inch squares bought at a sale to raise money for Cancer UK after the death of a local quilter about 3 years ago! Both are intended to a charity ....just not sure which yet! They are fleeced backed! R xx

They are both lovely quilts and such a pity your sister never got to see the finished piece.

some charity will be very grateful, yets hope they raffle them off to get as much money as possible.

Well done Rosemary. Someone is going to be lucky to own them eventually.

Cushion detail April 2020This isn't really a UFO as I only started it a couple of months ago but is now finished after much hard work, unpicking, etc. Made it for living room where the colours go nicely. One of detail. I got the idea from somewhere and then designed it myself. Won't be another one!Cushion April 2020

2 lovely quilts, Rosemary. It is going to be a lucky charity that receives them.

Lovely cushion, Sylvia, and a striking design. All those bias edges! Did you starch first?

Finished my Round Robin Mystery Quilt. I asked for modern and abstract. I am thrilled with the result. It glows. My only expense during all the rounds was black wadding for my own quilt. Lost my mojo a little bit then 'lock down' concentrated my mind to get it finished.

It has a variety of quilting and thanks to some Youtube videos I taught myself how to do fmq pebbles. It's 45" square and the outer border is not quite as mauve as the camera says.

My usual quiet backing!
