Beautiful work on this page ladies, love everything. Those Jan pieced strips have given me an idea Fiona. I have lots of odd long triangles which need using up.

Love the water iris wall hanging, Eileen. Is that your favourite colour palette?

The teddy quilt is so sweet, Rosemary. I might 'borrow' that idea!

Ooops - you can leave a UFO too long! I have found one that I last worked on over 10 years ago. It's QAYG in 3 parts using a decorative machine stitch. The first section is quilted, the second section is half quilted and the third section had not been sandwiched. The machine I was using has died and gone to quilt heaven and I no longer have the variegated thread I was using. Recently, I nearly gave away the remaining backing fabric!

It's definitely time to finish it - somehow. I'll see if there is a similar stitch on my current machine and have ordered some thread, which I am hoping will be near the original.

You're welcome to "borrow" that idea.......I admit I did....although I used my own bear design! Rx

Oh the teddies are lovely Rosemary. A lucky little person is going to love that.

I do like that palette Margaret, which people find odd as I am blue/purple colour blind. they look like different shade of the same colour. I also love minty greens/aqua colours too. Though my favourite colour is softish yellows/primrose/lemon.

I started this before Christmas but didn't finish it. But I am being strict with myself and finishing the UFO's before I start anything else. I have my bargello quilt to finish.

I had intended to use it , together with all the others in a linus quilt. But...... I decided to make it into a cushion which we shall raffle at out next WI meeting.....with all the money raised going to the Royal Marsden Hospital.
