good evening ladies. I have been asked to make an apron for a present and the lady has said she wants it in ticking. my memory of ticking is the stuff that used to be used as a cover on mattresses.
my question is: is ticking too stiff to use or does it come in different weights like calico does?
thanks in advance

|As I understand it, ticking is a striped, close or twill weave fabric that comes in different weights. Some of it can be like a board whilst others are much softer. Think light canvas sort of weight. Hope that helps. A google search will show you possibilities.|
