I think I made the top in 2014 or 2015 and it is an adaptation of an idea from Stuart Hillard, in PP, on using up your scraps. Margaret |

![]() 4022 forum posts 756 photos | Lovely quilt Carol. So pretty in blue. Here is my final offering for February, UFO #4 zapped. Sri Lankan embroidery sample. 12" square. Big Bird has been waiting about 2 years to have an eye! Buttonhole and stem stitch by machine and the rest hand stitched. Bought some black wall art from charity shop. Covered the front with wadding and stapled panel over it. If I had had some ribbon to cover the edges, I wouldn't have backed it. Margaret |

Moderator 52 forum posts | Ladies, I am truly blown away by the volume of your work, let alone the standard. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but you have certainly exceeded my expectations- let's put it that way! Just amazing- so well done all of you! I am currently battling my way through the wind and snow to get to the K&S show at Olympia for the next couple of days, so will postpone announcing winners till Monday if that's OK?- feel free to add more if you wish. If any of you are going to Olympia, though I suspect the snow will have put a lot of people off, do come and say hello! I'm there today and tomorrow morning weather permitting- though I may head back to Brighton in the morning if it's looking worse. Keep warm! Emma x |
