Eileen, I have about half a dozen and I must get to them soon, but I wait for the warmer weather to use the big table with an 8'x4' board on it on the patio for layering up.

Sylvia, I love your coasters, do you make your own confetti or save up all the teeny tiny pieces?

I do save any tiny pieces Jayne but always end up snipping lots of scraps.

That looks really pretty. Jewel like. I never seem to know how to use the batiks to their best advantage.

Jayne Nice to get project done.

Like the bag.

Like the table centre.

I am working my way though a few UFO's. Been buying batik's to do a New York beauty. Will start it soon

What a lovely and cheerful table centre Rosemary.

I have had another hour in my sewing shed this afternoon, trying to shake off a cold and cheer myself up a bit.

Last year I was privileged to have been involved with the "Quilts for Grenfell Tower" group on Facebook, this year they have renamed themselves to "GT Quilters". We have been set the challenge of making one Christmas stocking per month to donate to a local charity of our choosing. Here is my stocking for January.

I was asked to make another quilt with fabric from the Hornsea sewing centre.

I chose the 4th of july block as it uses 5 colours and I was given five fabrics.

I decided not to do traditional sashing as I wanted the secondary pinwheel to be visible.

I found the perfect pink to go with the pink in the purply/blue fabrics. I used one of the purple/blue fabrics for the binding.

I then tried one of the stencils and machined in each corner.

It will be taken to the owner next week.
