I have finished the interlocking triads project that I started with Jan Hassard last week. Her's was on black fabric and it was gorgeous. However I am not keen on black so it took some thought to find a fabric that would allow the dark purple to show up as well as showing the other colours. I finally chose a coffee coloured batik.

Adding a couple of photos from my weekend of 4 workshops with my Palma patchwork group. Lovely salon we have in this hotel on Playa de Palma. Whoops, forgot to put in an album on here first, will do.

I have got the Bargello strips joined together. Its about 3" short top and bottom and at the sides. Not sure what I will do to add borders, I have some of the pale accent strips that might go in but I don't know what colour to do the backing. Jan Hassard has used black: but I am not keen on black. Its laid on the backing of Victoria's snuggle quilt as our carpet is a busy Axminster design smiley

I've been waiting to see this one. Gorgeous, Eileen. Well done.

Now I love black, but not solid these days. As you don't, how about very dark blue or one of your other dark accent colours?

Usual to quilt not too heavily and following the waves, or go up some of the vertical seams, but I think the later would spoil this top.
