house block tracing.jpgI then traced it again...... onto baking paper ...and added the windows!

I used this to create my centre's about 24 ins by 18 ins.

Wow, Rosemary. Love your heavy machinery quilt. Wish I had children to quilt for. Someone is going to be very lucky to get that quilt. Love the grown up girly quilt too.
I always imagined you living in a quaint thatched cottage! Very interesting block. Is your house an old school or chapel? Will enjoy following the progress of this one.

Thank you Margaret..our house was the school in the village...from 1859 to 1969/70 when the new bigger one was built just down the road! Best Rosemary

Love your baby quilt. Think my DH would actually like that one himself. Your Barn quilt sounds like it will keep you busy for quite a while, well done with your first block.

The school house block is great. You have done such a good job Rosemary. Is this one 6-inches as well? It looks bigger.

Every primary school I went has been demolished! It makes me feel so old - well I am old - but some days I pretend to be 30 again!
