You have been busy......I love your bright fabric Sylvia.....I'm sure it will be much loved! And such perfect piecing Pam.....and I have always loved Lynette Anderson designs.........I have been making a bag....it was a gift from Cathy in New Zealand for one Christmas swap we had!! I will get it finished one of these days.....I promise!!

My quilt raised £45.00 for our local hospice.....so I'm pretty pleased with that! The fabric had been donated.....so all I had to buy was the fleece backing!

best Rosemary

Wow, you have been busy. Welcome back Claire and lovely stitchery. Congrats Rosemary on your fund raising quilt. Hope a 'girly' person won it. Love the wall hanging Pam. Looks like an Anja Townrow? Baby quilts are so difficult to give at the moment. Hope your lovely 'play mat' is appreciated Sylvia.

I really must get down to taking some photos and posting them here. I have been quilting, honest!

These are wonderful pieces of sewing/quilting ladies. That was a good amount raised Rosemary well done. Took me ages to work out what a steamer was then it clicked. very imaginative.

I have been busy with the garden, sailing and sewing dresses for a holiday in Sardinia last month.

Finally got to do some quilting this last couple of weeks.

Its another quilt by the yard activity grandmother's fan design.

I used a zigzag stitch to anchor the layers together.

Like this one the colours are so gentle.

I like using the foundation fabric. Just doing a braid one when I get the time

Really lovely Eileen. Colours remind me of all the lavenders in my garden.

Just noticed - is it sprigs of lavender on one of the fabrics?

the fabrics are in the same range so they all complement each other. the pale lilac 'fan blade' has small sprigs of flowers on it and the pinky colour matches that too. I cant remember who make it.

ooh the braid one sounds good Pam, is that also a quilt be the yard or paper piecing.?

Eileen

It will be a throw once I get round to it, all joined just need to layer it up and quilt.

I have put another panel in between to make it bigger. Using scraps only. A bit to warm for me to do it.

It is foundation fabric. I would like some more will have to look for some.

It seems to have gone up in price but easy to work with

Bye Pam

It's lovely Rosemary,

Is it appliques?, Where did you get the templates from? Some little kiddie will have hours of fun with that.
