That's really pretty Jayne. I like pinwheels!!

I think I would use it and finish the ends gradually......I hate that job soooooo much! I try to see them in as I go!

And so what if you have a nap occasionally!!

Thank you Rosemary, that's exactly my plan, or was, I seems we're in for a heat wave this weekend... I wouldn't mind but the centre I managed to do in one hit, it was the border quilting, not only separate rings but a couple of thread breaks so more starts and stops.

I also like your pinwheels. I also like the subtlety of your colour choice. I like the idea of using buttons. looks very good.

Thank you Eileen, the colours were all in one layer cake, and by using the easy 8 method of HST there was very little waste.

new bag.jpg

Some of you may remember that I bought some "tapestry" material at FoQ a couple of years ago. Well.....I've looked at it regularly....but hadn't got round to do anything with it.....until now! We are going to Vienna next week to celebrate our wedding anniversary....we're flying ......and my overnight bag is miles to big for the airline.....and then in February's issue of PP was a bag...... "Ingrid".....by Debbie von Grabler-Crozier.......which was just what I wanted. It was very slightly too long.....so I made it just a bit shorter...and I only wanted to use the one fabric....naturally...... and this is the result! best Rosemary

Eileen & Jayne

lovely quilts, the FPP has made a very effective pattern, and I love the idea of button tying plus little waste.
