Explore techniques for making marks on paper using plant materials including botanical contact printing (eco printing), mono printing, frottage and text. Using the broad theme of the sea, each artist gives their individual response to the subject, covering such diverse aspects as species on the edge of extinction,refugees coming to the UK by sea, the chemical footprint left by humanity for future archaeologists, plastics in the ocean and other concerns related to the sea.

Details: Leominster Quilters are celebrating 30 years of quilting together with an exhibition: Quilts in the Marches. This will take place at Bodenham Village Hall, Bodenham, Herefordshire, HR1 3LB, from 10:00 till 4:00 pm daily. There will be refreshments, sales tables and traders. Lots of parking and disabled access.
