Just for fun (and prizes) would anyone like to make a tea cosy this month? Not to swap or vote on, but just for the sake of it? I've never made one, and don't use one, but I think my 90 year old next door neighbour would like one, and there is a lovely pattern in this month's issue.

I will send a prize to everyone who posts a photo of a new or old hand made tea cosy before 18th April (unless we get hundreds, which is not that likely!)

Hi Katy, You have brought back some special memories with this forum. I made my mum a tea cozy so many years ago.....both sides hand embroidered....and gave it to her as a birthday gift. When she passed away I was sure to take it home with me. I've just taken a photo of it here for you.

I love your tea cosy. It's really beautiful, and it must have some very special memories attached to it. I'm so pleased you were able to get it back again. It's a real family heirloom.
