Hug Hearts for January

Please post here if you'd like to receive some hugs or nominate someone else for a batch

We're still quite low on stock, so if anyone (apart from Alison, who has made hundreds!) has spare time to make a batch, I'd be very grateful for them.

Hearts in the post today for Fiona, Kim and Kay.

I had a message from Jan last night. She said thanks for the hugs we sent before Christmas, and that she likes Marian's cushions, but she didn't say how she was, so I'm sorry I can't tell you that she is any better, but it was lovely to hear from her.

Lovely to hear about you Jan and that you received some Hug Hearts. I hope 2016 has brought better health for you and that you continue to improve and we can catch up sometime.

Thank you Katy for the squishy you sent this week. It arrived on Friday and just reading the card gave me a huge boost after a particularly horrid day. Some of you already know this but I was diagnosed last week with breast cancer. It's been a tough six weeks since I first found a lump but the NHS has been brilliant, even if appointments have rather taken over our lives for now. Friday's batch was for pre-op assessment (yes, fit enough!) plus an MRI to check it hasn't spread. Results on the 1st and a mastectomy soon after that. So in between appointments, we have been organising ourselves and the house to allow for recovery afterwards. I had told DH I needed yet more cushions for the sofa so tomorrow I plan to turn my hearts into some whilst Isabella does some maths. Thank you all!

Oh Fiona, sending the biggest hugs I can. We will all be with you in thought every step of the way. Enjoy those cushions.

I expect you know this, but a big heart shaped one is evidently really comfortable under the armpit after the op. Some of us make them here for the hospital.
