297 forum posts 81 photos	Lucky you Tessa, and well done to your DH. I came home yesterday to find my DH had made me this wonderful advent box, but looking at the size of the drawers I don't hold out hope of finding any beautiful fabric in them, So far a lip balm and a small scented candle! ~Lexy

Moderator 5766 forum posts 485 photos 13 articles	I am very lucky ... but I will admit that the advent calender holds the only gifts that I'll get this Christmas due to huge financial restraints. I did though, manage to put a £1 scratch card in each of my husband's advent calendar pockets.

985 forum posts 187 photos	How lovely, Tessa and Lexi, I'm afraid my husband falls into the same camp as Rosemary and Kay, ! We shall enjoy6 your pictures instead. We have never spent a lot on presents, brought up that way, its the thought that goes on behind 5that counts. And the day my son buys anything, will be a day to make a song and dance about! I have an old friend who really really loves Christmas , her sil has made her a lucky dip advent pile. She is posting the pictures on her fb page, last year she had an advent calender, similar, and some of the larger presents were hidden round the house without her noticing! Maria.
