They were very pleasant on the phone but I had hoped for a little more help. The whole thing is about 30" x 30" so I don't think the block has a name. if it does they didn't say so.

I've pm'd you about your query smiley

Eileen.

Eileen,

beautiful Xmas centre piece.

Here is a quilt I made for my Grand daughter, made the mistake of posting it 1st class, signed for - expected next day delivery. 9 days later it finally arrived after my DIL did some phone chasing. Phew, but never again!

WOWEEE- Carol - that is just absolutely gorgeous - what an incredibly lucky granddaughter she is. You must have had 9 sleepless nights waiting for it to arrive - that is ridiculous. You just feel at their mercy, in those situations don't you because even "compensation" wouldn't compensate if they lost something as precious as that.

Winnie/Margaret xx

Thanks Margaret. As to the sleepless nights - yes, and I was away in Germany 2 days after I posted it so I felt even more helpless. Never mind - all ended well face 1

that is stunning, lucky little girl.

the post is getting worse. my bday card too 14 days and it was posted 1st class.

I would also have had sleepless nights waiting. My OH tends to use Hermes couriers now as they seem to be able to get stuff next day etc.

hope you had a good time in Germany,

Eileen

What a beautiful quilt. One lucky grand daughter. Love the panda faces and the balloon.
Nightmare with the post though. What a worry.

I liked that pattern when I saw it in that magazine and it has proved very popular on the web. Unfortunately I have no children to make it for.

Gorgeous quilt Thimble. I love it but what a stress waiting for news of its' delivery for 9 days, especially you were out of the country too. I'm sure it will be a loved quilt for her.
